What's scary is things aren't going to get better for Police Officers any time soon - not with the Feds trying to take down a former President who supports Law Enforcement and our Military unequivocally.
Police Departments also have to be rid of higher ups who only look out for themselves , and make back door deals with greedy , self serving , politicians :
Look at former NYPD Cheif O'NEILL and O'Shea , who left NYPD an internal mess.
Remember :
Mayor Eric Adams is a former NYPD Lieutenant and headed a left wing Black Nationalist organization of NYPD Police Officers.
Look at his District Attorney.
New York has turned into Gothan City.

Completely agreed about the state of policing (including toxic, self-serving leadership permeating PDs), and I fear that we're stuck with this mess for awhile. NYC is broken, as is Chicago. Such a tragedy to see how far down our greatest cities have fallen.
