Jon, I agree with you 100%! The people who desecrate these memorials should indeed be held accountable by the law. I accept that there are people whose hearts and minds will never be open to any level of education or hand-holding.

You’re right… Reading your words was like a punch in my gut, as someone just vandalized our cities law enforcement memorial as well… And even through that we are choosing to act as officers of nobility, serving the next face in front of us. Again, you have a gift for writing and I’m always encouraged when I have an opportunity to see a new post!
I am so sorry about that! Where did this happen? Ours has been hit at least twice, and it costs a lot of money to repair the damage. This is money that comes out of the fund to help support the families of our fallen heroes.
