Paula. Thank you for your support. I have spent my life in the law enforcement service to the State of Texas. I currently op-Ed for law officer and teach and train across the nation. Thank you as always to your insights. Please stay safe.

Thanks so much, Garry!

I love reading Law Officer. You must work with Travis?

We have collaborated on several fronts. I am blessed to have him in my corner in trainings and mentorship.

I love reading your Op-Ed. You have so much passion. Wish we could find more of that in our profession. Please be safe my sister.

He calls out weak police leadership like nobody else. He interviewed my dear friend, Mike Koval, retired chief of the Madison PD a few months ago. : )

Just an FYI: I'm not a police officer and never have been. I'm just a civilian who cares deeply about this issue and who is terrified about the state of our country.

Yes Ma’am and that is what is so impressive.

I'm honored. Thank you so much!

A colleague & friend and I are discussing how to incorporate a police support segment into the women's network we belong to. More help is on the way. : )

Yes Ma’am. I read that in one of your articles. I think it is an amazing idea. The profession is in need of all the support we can get.

I have always said we need people who are willing to stand up and speak up.

"All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent."

Paula! Excellent as usual! I am speaking at the country’s largest law-enforcement appreciation conference this coming week in Elkhart, Indiana. The focus of the two messages I’m giving is on the nobility of policing, and how we move forward finding our calling as given! Your article is timely, and I see great hope in our future!

Thanks, Jeff! Some days all we have is hope. : )

It's so wonderful that you're doing this. Is this the Billy Graham event?

No, it’s Jim Bontrager’s event, Breaching the Barricade.

That is so cool. It looks like Travis attends those, as well. I hope you have a great time. : )

I'm looking to attend more LE events in the coming year but most seem to prohibit the public. Which is completely understandable, of course.

Ms Paula, I can speak on the war on cops has all but stopped engaging vehicles across the country. I am a proponent of DDACTS and firmly believe stopping vehicles is a crime deterrent.

With police officers being shot while engaging vehicles or being run over by impaired drivers not taken off the road for the same reason, we are in need of support of the law abiding citizens. Thomas Jefferson explained our dilemma when he spoke of good people staying silent.

My phone number is 5127914359. If you would like to visit I would be honored. Just know I do not answer calls from numbers I do not recognize so leave a message. The IRS has warrants for me and my vehicle warranty has expired. 🤣🤣🤣

Isn't that the truth? Gosh, I wish more people took this issue more seriously. It affects all of us.

Thanks, and I'll be in touch on the presentation, but not until early next year.

Haha on your last paragraph. : )

No Ma’am. I write articles for law officer and have them picked up by several other LE news outlets. I usually post on fb and li when I teach somewhere. Don’t think I could write a newsletter.

Thank you for visiting. Please be safe.

I'm always looking for experts for future presentations. I'm working on a few for next year about crime statistics and how the war on cops harms at-risk communities. Are you knowledgeable about either of these topics?

Thank you for this thoughtful article. I would like to suggest an additions to your recommendations list from Texas and Washington. Police Wire provides a well thought out front line viewpoint and Christopher Young writes deep essays simplifying policing's most critical topics. Really honored by your support!
