Handy Cheat Sheet of Federal Bills Aimed at Protecting Police Officers

We CAN get this done!

As promised, here’s the table of current federal bills aimed at protecting police officers. For a deeper dive, I encourage you to check out my full article.

Please note that this is an independent analysis based on research, conversations with knowledgeable people, and interpretation of the bills. I’m not a legal scholar and by no means do I claim to know everything.

I also don’t deceive myself into thinking that the Protect & Serve Act (the bill that I’m lobbying for) or any piece of legislation is a panacea. It is, however, a meaningful solution and a solid step in the right direction of restoring law and order.

So again, I respectfully ask that you urge your Congressperson to co-sponsor this bill (H.R. 743). As overwhelming as things seem right now, this is a legitimate opportunity to start righting this ship.

There are things in this world that are completely out of our control. Getting H.R. 743 passed is not one of them. We do have the power to lobby Congress.
